Tennis, basketball, and handball courts encourage healthy activity, skill-building, and friendly competition, while also creating natural gathering places where neighbors can connect and build a strong sense of community.
For younger residents, the children's play area provides a safe, engaging space to play, explore, and socialize, supporting physical development and imaginative play. Heated Pool & Spa
A jewel of Wedge Wood, our pool is heated year-round, whether by the abundant Florida Sun or by a heater in the cooler months. In addition to the Spa, you can spend hours relaxing in a tranquil atmosphere. Wedge Wood also offers our community clubhouse, used by residents and staff alike. It's a great place to host gatherings and socialize.
Tennis Court
Wedge Wood residents have access to a fully lit tennis court in case matches run past sunset. In early 2019, the lights and fixtures were upgraded to LED for more efficient, brighter lighting. Now that is Match Point!
Basketball Court
Our half-court basketball facility is ideal for friendly games. It offers a welcoming place for residents to stay active, practice skills, and enjoy friendly games close to home. It encourages healthy exercise, social interaction, and fun for players of all ages within the community.
Kiddie Playground
For families with children, Wedge Wood has a playground with swings, a playscape & slide. We are sure they will have fun! Just a reminder: all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian while at play.
Handball Court
Our community handball court offers a fun, energetic space for residents of all ages to stay active and connect with neighbors. It promotes fitness, coordination, and friendly competition while providing a safe, convenient place to enjoy fresh air and recreation right within the neighborhood.
Private Fishing Pond
Grab a pole and drop a line! Wedge Wood's catch-and-release pond provides a peaceful retreat where residents can enjoy fishing, nature, and quiet reflection. It encourages outdoor recreation, environmental appreciation, and shared enjoyment of a well-preserved natural space within the community.
